A Slew of Metal Chickens!

I cannot believe how many chickens are at this store! Why didn't I know about this place a year ago when I was going through the whole chicken search?

Chris and Alex took this photo on their way home from the Bruder's.

It's all of Norman's brothers!

I just bought a goat so I don't really feel like I need to purchase another metal yard art piece but there's this part of me that wants to go shopping here to see what else they have.

I need to stop this obsession before it gets out of control!

What a cute baby!

We were looking through pictures this weekend searching for a baby picture of Drew for his 5th grade graduation later this month. I cannot believe this baby is going to be in the 6th grade come fall. And, he is so ready. Time sure does go by quickly.

An Email from JB

We had gone to Chicfila to get dinner before his guitar lesson and he emailed me this:

I love that kid.

A Poem by JB

I don't know why he erased some of the lines but I loved this poem.

I love his sense of humor. And, his poor spelling.

Playing on the iPad

This is what this photo says to me:

I'm sorry you have to work, Mom. Drew and I are goofing off at Dads. See you later, Sucker!

You Can See!

Dear sweet, sweet boy,

Why didn't you tell me you couldn't see?

You failed your eye exam at school so I took you to the optometrist today.

When you were reading the smallest line, my mouth fell open in dismay.

You read D A F V.

Really? That's the smallest you can read?

Why didn't you tell me you couldn't see?

You learned how to put in contacts today. You can see!

And you're doing very well with them. I'm very impressed.

And, proud of you.

But mostly, I'm just glad you can see!

Love,

Mom of the Year

PS I blame this on your Dad. His eye sight was the worst!
