Christmas

Well, we had a very nice Christmas. Thanks to all of you who sent gifts and cards! Drew woke up at about 7:00am and said, "Mommy, I don't think Santa came. I didn't hear a bump on the roof." For those of you who don't know, we live on the bottom level of stacked condos. He went to check to see if Santa had come and he was like a bullet running from room to room saying, "He came! He brought our gifts!" And then here comes JB dragging behind half asleep. I thought the Lincoln Logs would be the favorite item but the joy stick video game that plays Pac Man and some of the other old videos game was the hit of the year. My personal favorite was the Lego's. The boys would make suggestions of where to put things and I would say, "No, Mommy has a vision." I'm enjoying them!
I finally got my cards in the mail, so be on the lookout for their cutie pie faces.

When I last wrote I told you about a Girls Sleepover Party that I was going to. What a blast! I work with some great people and we had a great time! I'll have to scan the photo and get that posted. We had about 20 ladies. Ginger and I made a splash in the hot tub at about midnight and stayed in until about 3:00am. Needless to say- I was pretty slow the next day. But it was so fun!

JB is looking forward to heading to the "big" school. Our daycare has two schools. One for kids under 4 and the other over 4. He just missed going over in the summer because there were too many kids older than him. Anyway- he gets to go over in January and this is so exciting because most of his friends are there. And, I'm so excited because I will only have to go to one school.

The weather has fluxuated. We've had little snow storms here and there but it's been very sunny and warm on days, too. Well, not warm for you Texas folk.

Well, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and have a happy and safe New Year's!

My First Blog

Hi everyone. Just trying out this whole blog thing. Hopefully I can keep it updated in the next year so you can see what is going on in our lives. The boys are doing great and are very excited for Christmas to come. Lincoln Logs and Legos are on they're list. I'm going to attempt to attach some photos. It is just now starting to snow and we had very nice fall days in November and that's when these photos were taken. The boys were out climbing the trees. JB is making "leave angels".

December is a busy month for me. I'm going to a girls sleepover tomorrow night and the following Friday is our Copmany Christmas party night. I have to have all my Christmas shopping done by the 11th since I will have the boys on the weekend of the 17th. I'm planning on the boys being with me for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning then they will go with Andy.

Hope all is well with everyone else.
