Brother Friends
These pictures were taken on August 9, 2009. I was playing with my camera and we were enjoying a summer day in the backyard. Watching Drew & JB's relationship grow and change is so much fun.

Hey, Mr. Postman!
We love mail so thanks for delivering us some!
That crazy Claudia at House of Shine is always coming up with some wild and fun idea but I'll be honest. I kind of went into this project dragging my feet and thinking I would make up some excuse not to do it Wednesday night.
You know- the boys had too much homework. I ran out of time and didn't get it done. I couldn't think of anything. I had to pluck my eyebrows. Drew needed brain surgery.
Those kinds of things.
At about 1:30 I thought maybe I could finagle some kind of heart to put on there but had no idea how I was going to do it. After going to Chick-fil-a and sitting in the longest line EVER. I swear, it was out on to the highway we finally got home at about 6:45.
I ate. I changed clothes. I dug in and got busy.
I gathered some cardboard boxes and some hangers. Cut and tape while holding my tongue to one side and applying pressure with my big toe. Once the heart started taking shape I realized that I was going to need some foam core board and some red spray paint.
Who wants to go to Hobby Lobby? Yay. I mean, YAY!
Cut, tape, paint. Cut, tape, paint.
LOOK AT HOW STINKING CUTE IT TURNED OUT!
Sorry, I'll stop yelling now.

I'm pretty darn pleased with it. And I was done before 9:30 or so. Just think how cool it could have been if I had started on it when Claudia first announced it! Oy!
I put a $5 gift card from Starbucks in the mailbox for our postal delivery person this morning.
Claudia decorated her mailbox as a Lion.

In my world everyone's a pony, they eat rainbows and poop butterflies.
While I was in my room last night, I could hear the boys laughing about something in the other room... something that had to do with a lot of burping. They finally come running in and JB performs for me and I couldn't help it. I know I shouldn't encourage it but it's just so funny. They say it's from Horton Hears a Who but I don't remember it.
He burped the ending 3 times before we got the camera out... 3 TIMES! Not counting the numerous times that he did it in the living room. And each time an explosive burp at the end. Nope. Couldn't get it on video and this one cracked us up today in review.

Psst... Hi Karyn!
Hey, it's Drew & JB. Remember us? We live here.

JB, doesn't it suck that mom is writing more about her friends blog and crap than about us?
Shut up! You're not my mom.

Yeah, you're right. Sorry. Maybe if I could swim like Michael Phelps and set out to win 9 gold medals, she'll start writing about us again.

You can do it!

I should!

Steak sounds good.
Oh sh*t!
I'll take him.

Okay.

My favorite.

Oh sh*t!

The End.
No animal or child actually swore in the making of this blog post but we did have hamburgers for dinner.
